Magisterra Soloists International wishes to thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) for their generous Resilient Communities Grant.OTF was founded by a group of leaders in Ontario’s charitable and private sector who had a vision for a foundation that could play an important role infostering a healthy and vibrant Ontario. As their founding chairman announced: “The leadership of Trillium has been a co-operative effort from the beginning, involving some of the finest minds in the province, who, together, shared a vision that they could make a difference.”
Attuned to changing needs, in the summer of 2020, OTF launched the Resilient Communities Fund, enabling them to “invest in projects of eligible non-profit organizations to aid their medium to longer-term recovery efforts, help with their stabilization,and build their capacity and resiliency in the aftermath of COVID-19”. This grant has positively impacted Magisterra Soloists International in our efforts to sustain presentation of the “Magisterra at the Museum” series, which aims to provide unique chamber music experiences, showcasing talented Canadian and international musicians to London and area audiences.
This funding is also being used to develop new audio-visual outreach resources that will support music education and provide enriching musical experiences for students and teachers in our local and regional community
